Obama Writes An Excuse Note

“No, no, I’m serious,” Obama interrupted, prompting the questioner to give his daughter’s name: “Kennedy.”

“Kennedy. Alright – that’s a cool name,” Obama said, scrawling a note on the podium as the questioner proceeded. “I’m gonna write to Kennedy’s teacher.” Before answering Kennedy’s dad, Obama walked down and handed the beaming girl a most unusual get-out-of-class-free note.

“So this one time, the President of the United States wrote me an excuse note. Yeah, it was cool.”
